Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Almost Thanksgiving,

Today I would like to share 3 easy to make Christmas Cards. They are simple but elegant. If you don't  have die cuts you could use embellishments to match the theme of your cards. I chose images from Pion and Maja paper distressed them and added Frantage. Added a complimentary background paper also distressed the edges. Used some ribbon bling and snow die cuts.

Below are the items I used from the 7 Kids College Fund Store:

Sweet Snow Baby

Happy Wednesday,

I can't believe it is the middle of November. Time is just flying by. I would like to share my snow baby card that I created using Pion Design Paper Greetings from the North Pole. The filmstrip, snow baby and the sentiment are all part of the paper design. This Pion paper makes a gorgeous card with or without embellishments.

The die cuts I chose were Prima Doily, Cheery Lynn Flourish and Susan Wilson. I added Prima flowers, pearls a small pearl brochure, ribbon and chipboard. To create my snow effect I used Frontage and fine white glitter.

Merry Christmas

Today I would like to share my Christmas canvas inspired by a very special girl. I used a Prima watercolor canvas then stenciled with Prima modeling paste. The stencils are from Tim Holtz Set #19 mini layered set. I absolutely love these.

After the modeling paste dried I used Prima Memory Hardware Powder - Antoinette Pink, French Sage, Parisian Rosewood, Black, Clay, Brown. The chipboard is from Wycinanka Merry Christmas that I painted the sentiment with Prima Art Alchemy Metalique Royal Red Paint. On the edges of my canvas I used my distressing tool on plaid Christmas paper then I inked the edges with Tim Holtz Tea Dye distress ink. The final touch was Aleene's True Snow. To achieve the effect I used a sponge and dab on the snow until I was happy with the coverage.

A very simple gift for anyone!
